My Dad was in Army &#038; as dependents of Friday Rich soldier we were instructed in how to “fall back” to Eklutna Lake with supplies if nuclear war broke out. There the mountains would provide some shielding from blasts that would take out Ft Rich &#038; Elmendorf.This was my reality as a kid &#038; nothing since has ever been as scary!]]></description>
